Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best famous for her character Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and current. The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year-old Lebanese American teenager Jasira who is swept up in a storm of emotions as a result in the context of U.S. intervention in Iraq during the Gulf War. In 2007, Variety named her one of the 10 actors-to-watch. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she played the strong character Taslima Jhangir and was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award as the best female lead.
